EX Sports at the Ministry of Interior

The CEO of EX-Sports, Toli Makris, was honored to participate in a panel discussion at the UAE Ministry of Interior's Metaverse Forum, held in partnership with Mena-Tech. The event aimed to explore the benefits of utilizing the Metaverse for the Government and Police sectors, and was graced by the presence of Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and hundreds of other distinguished attendees. 


With a rich background in sports promotion and event organization, Toli has a deep understanding of the role technology can play in expanding and promoting sports globally. This is evident in EX-Sports' exclusive blockchain partnerships with sporting federations, including the JuJitsu International Federation (JJIF) and International Federation of Muay Thai Amateurs (IFMA).


Toli emphasized the significance of government involvement in the development of emerging technologies like the Metaverse, sharing how it can positively impact youth development through sports, as well as military and police training. Toli also highlighted the potential challenges that come with the Metaverse, such as the digital divide between different generations and their level of adoption to the technology. He stressed the importance of the government's involvement in the development and progress of the Metaverse, to better ensure its guidance and protection for all.


Toli was joined by other technology and blockchain thought leaders on the panel, including the CEO of Blockcomms, Sabir Khodabux, and the CEO of Al Maha Solutions, Eduardo Llaser Marchese. The forum also welcomed other prominent speakers, such as the CEO of Palms Sports, Fouad Darwich.
