Toli Makris and Sean Garnier take to the mainstage at LEAP 2023, Saudi Arabia

In its second Edition, LEAP, Saudi Arabia, has already become one of the largest technology events in the world, with over 100,000 tech innovators and leading experts from around the world attending to explore new ideas, build partnerships and inspire mentors and investors.



Toli Makris, CEO of EX-Sports, and Sean Garnier, CEO of Urbanball, took to the mainstage at LEAP to discuss their Urbanball project with Nicole Cacal, CEO of Forbes Ignite. They discussed how Urbanball and EX-Sports are utilizing NFTs, Web3 Gaming, and Blockchain technologies in the real world, and how they can be used to revolutionize the sports industry.

Sean and Toli highlighted the immense potential of these technologies, and how they can bring about a new level of transparency, fairness, and validations. EX-Sports and Urbanball are taking the lead in developing innovative solutions that use these technologies to create a more equitable and entertaining experience for sports fans around the world.



Urbanball and EX-Sports have been leveraging NFTs to deliver unique experiences for their fans, helping deliver more engaging and meaningful experiences. When Nicole quizzed the duo on the potential of NFTs, they showcased how players from real-world ‘Urbanball Fight’ events are connected to NFTs and integrated into the Web3 Urbanball game, providing athletes and sports fans with real rewards and unique experiences.

To cap off a powerful session, the thousands in attendance and live-streaming around the world were treated to a short football show from Sean.
